CONTRACT DURATION: two years
SYNOPSIS OF POSITION: This position supports the testing and evaluation of IP packet based video systems, including new compression technologies, as well as Video Transport technology in general. Job responsibilities will include the technical evaluation, integration, analysis, testing, of IPTV components such as encoders, decoders, and Video edge equipment. Additionally, this position will require the ability to develop and execute test plans, develop engineering guidelines, perform quantitative and engineering analysis, and assist in the development of technical requirements.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Expertise in Broadcast Video technology and equipment (Analog and Digital TV signals, broadcast methods, and their relevant standards such as SMPTE 259M, SMPTE 292M, and SMPTE 272);
Working knowledge of Encoding technology such as MPEG2, MPEG4-AVC, VC1;
Working knowledge of Video Quality Assessment (both subjective and objective methods);
Working knowledge of Video format conversion technology such as SDI to Composite, up-converting SDI to HD-SDI and down-converting HDSDI to SDI;
Working familiarity of Video Transport technology such as TV1, optical transmission of digital Video signals, CWDM solutions for multiplexing numerous digital signals onto fiber and SDI switches;
Working Knowledge of IPTV protocols such as RTP and relevant standards such as RFC 3550, RFC 2250 and ETSI TR 290;
Working knowledge of ITU VQG work on objective VQM;
Familiarity with Forward Error Correction codes such as PRO-MPEG COP3;
Experience with generating test plans and managing/performing the ensuing update and testing procedures;
Hands-on familiarity with testing methodologies, and quality control;
Strong technical writing ability;
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to function as a team member.
DESIRED SKILLS: Familiarity with IP networks, protocols and components (routers, switches);
Familiarity with IP streaming capture utilities (WireShark and other);
Strong verbal, presentation, and written communication skills;
Experience with Windows server systems and architecture;
Technical understanding of the current PON and xDSL architectures and standards;
Experience with Operational Support Systems.
REQUIRED DEGREES/MAJORS/ACCREDITATIONS:

Senior Embedded Software Engineer
| Job Description |
The Senior Embedded Software Engineer will be responsible for developing the
next generation media processing routers. Experience with digital video
headend product development (MPEG encoders, transport stream multiplexers,
demultiplexers, transraters) is highly desirable but not necessary. The
focus of the position is BSP and device driver development.
QUALIFICATIONS:
BS/MS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
Experience with device drivers (both END and character).
BSP development experience on either x86 or PowerPC processors.
The candidate should be a strong system programmer, with a working
knowledge of the internals of complex operating systems, using 32/64 bit
CPUs and virtual memory. Must be familiar with multi-processor programming,
comfortable with task scheduling, locks, mutexes, and semaphores.
Candidate must be able to analyze existing large code base and
optimize it for performance.
Strong C, C++ code writing capabilities.
Board bring-up.
Must have experience working on Pentium platform, knowledge of PCI
is required.
A strong understanding of MPEG standards (MPEG-2, MPEG-4 and H.26x)
and DVB standards is desirable.
A strong understanding of TCP/IP, IP forwarding, BSD sockets, IP
multicasting is required.
Work with the QA department as required.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
Candidate must be comfortable working in a team.
Must be willing to understand existing code base, understand it and
make improvements where required.

JOB PURPOSE:
Maximize TANDBERG Television's digital TV, HDTV, and IPTV product revenue
through the definition, launch and commercial management of competitive
products and solutions.
Ensure the specification, design, development and on time delivery of
quality, competitive, profitable products together with information to
enhance sales.
RESPONSIBLITIES:
Specifications: Collate, define and prioritize requirements for new
products. Work with engineering to set priorities for new product features,
fixes or enhancements based on commercial priorities.
Create market requirement specifications for new and existing

Assist with the management of a Global Private IP network
of switches in over 170 Points of Presence worldwide;
Responsible for maintaining the IP network - IP switches, video devices
and core underlying telecommunication circuits;
Monitor multiple global television networks for quality assurance;
Operate master control signal origination system;
Support the testing, turn up and delivery of full time, occasional and
event based services to clients;
Encoding customer content for signal origination and add/spot insertion,
manage On Air operations for clients;

Job Summary:
The Senior Firmware engineer will be responsible for designing in a

Requirements:
BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field;

We are currently recruiting for a Product Marketing Manager for our
corporate headquarters located in Mansfield, MA.
JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Vice president of Marketing and Business development, the
Product Marketing Manager is responsible for conducting market and
competitive analysis, product definition, developing/implementing product
launch plans and life cycle maintenance to ensure continuity in product
offering and company goals.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Regularly perform market analysis and requirements gathering.
Perform, summarize and present competitive analysis and market research;
Develop product launch plans, including product positioning recommendations;
Make recommendations on product bundling and develop product packaging;
Develop and implement part numbers and price list.
Create and publish product information, including white papers, product data
sheets, product roadmaps and sales & marketing guides;
Participate in the development of customer accessible product web sites
(extranet);
Facilitate product training for internal employees;
Develop requirements and conduct product demos and webinars ;
SECONDARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist with trade show activities, as requested;
Assist with other marketing projects and tasks, as requested;

Support and advance Company quality efforts and procedures for continuous
improvement.
Responsible for adherence to Company safe work practices and safety

REQUIREMENTS:
BA/BS Undergraduate degree in either Marketing, Communication Engineering,

8 plus years of product marketing in telecommunications/networking industry;
Must be an aggressive self-starter with ability to build executive
relationships;
Knowledge of and experience in the broadcast, cable, TV, telecommunications,
satellite or digital video industry;
Experience conducting market research and competitive analysis;
Experience developing and executing product launch plans ;
Experience with web strategy and development;
Knowledge of and experience in marketing video equipment or test &
measurement equipment to the broadcast, cable, telecommunications, or
satellite industry highly desired.
Knowledge of and experience with Digital Video Technologies: MPEG 2/4,
Hi-Def./Standard Def., IPTV, video distribution, and video processing.
Knowledge of and experience with video distribution and networking
technologies.
Proven expertise with developing and presenting technical data
